
Vee CR @v.chorabik (they/fae) is a transdisciplinary artist with an MFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (ECUAD), 2021. Their practices centers around 2SLGBTQIA+ love and identity, which manifests as queer artworks defying traditional categories such as “painting.” They teach various studio and professional practice courses at ECUAD, such as “Expanded Painting” where they teach others to expand beyond the boundaries of painting and listen to their materials. Their work has been exhibited in various galleries around North America, including: Vancouver Art Gallery, Libby Leshgold Gallery, and The Slice of Life Gallery. They are currently working on a collaborative portraiture project to connect with others in a post-covid world, using art as a means of understanding one another better.
